About ALN Mind & Wellness

ALN Mind & Wellness was created to provide psychiatric care that feels personal, compassionate, and collaborative. We believe meaningful mental health care begins with listening, understanding your individual needs, and working together toward treatment goals that matter to you.
Our goal is to create a welcoming environment where patients feel respected, informed, and comfortable participating actively in their care.
Our Philosophy of Care

At ALN Mind & Wellness, we believe that mental health is a journey of growth and healing. Our practice is built on a foundation of patient-centered care, where every interaction is approached with the same level of compassion and professional expertise. We are dedicated to providing a supportive environment where you can find clarity and peace.
Why This Work Matters to Me
I was raised in a Haitian culture where mental health was not always openly discussed or understood. Strength often meant pushing through difficult experiences rather than talking about them. Because of that, I understand that seeking psychiatric care can feel unfamiliar, uncomfortable, or even frightening.
Asking for help takes courage. Being vulnerable with another person takes trust.
My military service and my work as a psychiatric nurse in the U.S. Navy deepened that understanding. I had the privilege of caring for some of the bravest men and women in this country during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. That experience reminded me that strength and vulnerability are not opposites. Sometimes, the strongest thing a person can do is acknowledge that they are struggling and allow someone to help.
Being a mother has shaped my perspective as well. It has taught me about responsibility, patience, exhaustion, love, competing demands, and the reality that even the people caring for everyone else sometimes need someone to care for them too.
These experiences are part of what led me to create ALN Mind & Wellness. My goal is to create a space where patients feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to ask questions, and respected enough to participate fully in their care.
You can simply arrive as you are.
Meet Your Dedicated Provider

I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a background in psychiatric nursing and military service. My approach to care is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and the belief that patients deserve to feel heard, respected, and actively involved in decisions about their mental health.
My experience as a psychiatric nurse in the U.S. Navy gave me the privilege of caring for service members during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. Working with individuals who are often expected to remain strong regardless of what they are experiencing reinforced something I continue to carry into practice today: strength and vulnerability can exist at the same time, and asking for help can be an act of courage.
My perspective is also shaped by my Haitian upbringing, where conversations about mental health were not always common or encouraged. I understand that cultural expectations, family beliefs, and concerns about stigma can make seeking psychiatric care difficult. I strive to create an environment where patients can talk openly about what they are experiencing without feeling judged or dismissed.
As a mother, nurse, military member, and mental health provider, I also understand how easily people can become focused on caring for everyone around them while overlooking their own needs. My goal is to provide a space where patients can slow down, ask questions, understand their treatment options, and receive care that considers the whole person—not simply a diagnosis.
