Psychiatric Services

ALN Mind & Wellness provides individualized outpatient psychiatric care focused on understanding your concerns, developing a thoughtful treatment plan, and supporting your progress over time. Services are designed to be collaborative, evidence-based, and tailored to your individual needs and goals.

Initial Psychiatric Evaluation

Your first appointment is an opportunity for us to understand what you are experiencing, what has been affecting your well-being, and what you hope to improve. The evaluation may include discussion of your current symptoms, psychiatric and medical history, medications, sleep, stress, relationships, lifestyle, substance use, family history, and previous treatment experiences. Together, we will review treatment options and develop a plan based on your individual needs, preferences, and goals.

During your evaluation, we may discuss:

  • Current symptoms and concerns
  • Previous treatment and medication history
  • Treatment goals and next steps

Medication Management

Medication can be an important part of treatment for some mental health conditions, but it should never feel like a one-size-fits-all decision. At ALN Mind & Wellness, medication recommendations are based on your symptoms, history, treatment goals, previous responses, medical considerations, and personal preferences. When medication is part of your treatment plan, we will review potential benefits, risks, side effects, alternatives, and what to expect. Follow-up visits are used to monitor how you are doing and make adjustments when needed.

Medication management may include:

  • Reviewing effectiveness and side effects
  • Adjusting medications when clinically appropriate
  • Discussing questions, concerns, and alternatives
  • Ongoing monitoring of symptoms and treatment goals

Follow-Up Psychiatric Care

Ongoing follow-up visits help us understand how treatment is working over time and whether any adjustments are needed. These appointments provide an opportunity to review changes in symptoms, medication response, side effects, sleep, stress, functioning, and progress toward your treatment goals. Care remains collaborative. We will discuss what is helping, what may need to change, and what next steps make the most sense for you.

Follow-up visits may include:

  • Reviewing symptom changes and progress
  • Monitoring medication response and side effects
  • Adjusting the treatment plan when appropriate
  • Addressing new concerns or changes in your overall well-being

Mental health concerns can affect people in different ways. ALN Mind & Wellness provides evaluation and treatment for a range of psychiatric symptoms and conditions.

• Anxiety

• Depression

• Mood concerns

• Attention and concentration concerns

• ADHD

• Sleep difficulties

• Trauma-related symptoms

• Stress and adjustment concerns

• Irritability and emotional regulation concerns

• Other psychiatric symptoms requiring evaluation

This list is not comprehensive. An evaluation is needed to determine whether ALN Mind & Wellness is an appropriate fit for your individual needs.

Telehealth Services

Telehealth offers a convenient way to receive psychiatric care from a private location using secure video technology. At your appointment, you must be physically located in a state where your clinician is authorized to practice. For the best experience, attend from a quiet, private space with a reliable internet connection and a device that supports video and audio.

During a telehealth visit, you may be asked to confirm:

  • Your current physical location
  • Your identity
  • An emergency contact
  • Any changes in medications, symptoms, or health since your last visit

Telehealth may not be appropriate for every situation. If a higher level of care or in-person evaluation is needed, appropriate recommendations will be discussed.
